Australian-born and brewed, Coopers champions the Aussie Originals, those who have always remained steadfast, fiercely independent, and genuinely dedicated to their craft.
This Coopers culture is as much an attitude as a defined interest. Coopers master brewers are their own Aussie Originals, the custodians of a craft shared and passed down through the generations. The same attitude that defines their product, process and heritage defines them, and naturally, there’s a shared set of values, including a genuine love for beer.
To commend this passion, Coopers required a public service announcement style piece of content to launch the debut of their limited-edition small batch Australian IPA, the first release since the pandemic, and the return to what we love most — shared moments with mates, friends, and family, either at home or at the pub.
Brewed by Australia’s original independent brewer, Australian IPA celebrates the “Silverbacks of Craft” and the natural strength and resilience of Australia and its people.
Through a balance of brand, product, and comedy, we leant on the bravado and notoriety of singer and frontman of the iconic Australian rock band Australian Crawl, Mr James Reyne. The film production took us to the heart of the Australian outback and the home of Mad Max, The Silverton Hotel in Broken Hill. Here we portrayed an intimate portrait of James as he raised a toast to everyone that came together and supported each other in a year where, well, let’s face it, we all needed a drink.
